We are in an autocratic state and we will very soon be full blown communism since it is clear that this is what the liberal party has become today. I'm holding out hope for an American invasion 🙏. I've given up on federal politics since my vote means nothing (I live in BC). I'll now focus my energy on the provincial and municipal governments where it might mean something when I check a ballot.
I have known for years our vote means nothing. We need a new system completely as this one has become far too corrupt to repair. Very sad...but realistic. When the PMO controls the media, the senate, the judges, the ethics commissioner, the AG...we stand no chance.

I was at a rally with Dallas Brodie and Yuri Fulmer this weekend, and it gave me a glimmer of hope. Caroline Elliott is a liberal and she'll not get my vote. I moved here from Alberta in 2014 and am considering going back if the next election doesn't bring in the conservatives with a majority.

If I were to vote at all, it would definitely be Dallas Brodie but depending on how long you have lived in BC, you will soon see that it has been mostly NDP on Vancouver Island and the lower mainland, which is the main population base. If Alberta were to actually separate, I would relocate there but I suspect Danielle will do everything in her power to muddy the waters.
