Watched a bit of her campaign launch/speech bafflegab yesterday. A gong show indeed - it was downright embarrassing. She told the audience that she has a picture on the wall of a Canadian flag to remind her who she works for. 🤢 . This Liberal NDP regime can’t be thrown out of office fast enough. 🤦
I think Danielle Smith captured these campaign launches and Trudeau's antics of late perfectly in an interview she did with Ezra Levant on the eve of Trumps inauguration which Smith is attending in Washington. She said "The Liberals (meaning the government), is not taking a Canada first approach (referring to Trump's tariff threat) they are taking a Liberal party first approach by turning the US and the Trump administration into the 'bad guys' so they campaign against them for their own personal and political benefit and its not good for the country."
And she is right on the money. Freeland's campaign launch, as you said was more about Trump than Poilievre. I couldn't watch the whole thing, because as one of your other posts commented, I too cannot stomach Freeland for long. I am sure Housefather, whose facial expressions I also noted, is going to get a stern talking too from Commandant Freeland for not expressing the grand enthusiasm for her disastrous speech, as her other supporters.
