The bank account freezing part still blows my mind. Three and a half months is a lifetime when you cant access your own money, and I've personally seen how financial pressure gets used as leverage against people who step out of line. The fact that the appeals court affirmed the Charter violation is huge tho. Dunno how many more wins are needed before accountability kicks in, but this is definately a start.
I think if people can begin to see how Canada got where it is now, they will recognize all these symptoms you are referring to. We are an administrative state now, and we have to look at history to understand legal vs lawful, precedent setting (such as the examples with Chris and Tamara and Katie and Karen). These are precedents that were set and we need to alert government to the fact that we know what they are up to...we can identify symptoms for an eternity, and no doubt we will speak to them for a long time to come, but the real solution, to my mind; is to unfold how we got here to begin with so we can start to unravel the insanity we face today. This is not a partisan issue...it is really waking up to see the slow deterioration of a once beautiful country. We are no longer free! Once we alert them to how we see what's going on, we can alleviate the fear and take our power back. Where we are today? This statement says it all, David. “What they wanted to do was instill fear in Canadians that if they supported this sort of thing, somebody that was going against the government calling the government out for the harsh actions throughout you know this scandemic, that there will be ramifications for that.” Unless we STOP remaining silent and being just observers, we will continue on the same pattern.
I believe I can help us in moving forward if we begin to identify the state we are currently in. I have begun a letter writing campaign and I hope to get others to follow suit. I would happily share what I have if people are interested. I have some editorial pieces that will be coming out soon as well...Druther's will be putting an article of mine and I am really praying that my message can reach out so we can slowly begin to rebuild our country.

It was a classic communist maneuver and we ALL need ti remain vigilant because our 'leader' was placed here to steer us into a red pool.
