If the Governor General will not stand up for Canada, it is time to get rid of the non essential office of Governor General.

We left the Commonwealth of GB...why do we even have a Gov. Gen.?? It is just a money grab, nothing more.

Gov gen will never stand up for Canadians as it is against the WEF captured globalist King Charles. We are screwed being part of the Monarchy! We need to break from the Monarchy and control the direction of the country.

If the constitution is ever re-opened, it would make sense to re-examine the prorogation powers given to the governor general. Prorogation is, almost without exception, always used by cynical and desperate Prime Ministers looking to avoid accountability for their actions.

Well now all those poor MPs about to loose their seats will now get to keep their pensions. We need an election not a shut down of government.

Prorogation is a double-edged sword. Doing that instead of calling an immediate election might let Zoolander hang on a few months longer, but if he plans to live in Canada after he leaves office, he’ll have a difficult time appearing in public. His other alternative is to have an election, lose badly, and retire to the obscurity he so richly deserves. The latter option comes without the need to seek political asylum in Cuba.
